How to add a Korean keyboard on Windows
- Open Settings → Time & language → Language & region.
- Click Add a language, search for Korean (한국어), and install it. You only need the basic typing feature.
- Press Win + Space to switch to the Korean keyboard. The taskbar shows 한 or A next to the clock.
- Inside the Korean keyboard, press the right Alt key to toggle between Hangul (가) and English (A). Korean keyboards have a dedicated 한/영 key for this.
The most common problem: the Korean keyboard is selected but it is still in English (A) mode. Press right Alt once and the taskbar icon changes to 가.
