TypeRecall Korean (“the site”, “we”) is a free website for learning Korean by typing. This page explains what information is handled when you use the site.

1. We do not run accounts or collect personal details

You can use the site without signing up. We do not ask for your name, email address, or any other personal details, and we do not operate a server that stores your study history.

2. What is stored in your browser

Your study progress, mistakes list, statistics, and settings (such as language and sound) are saved in your own browser using localStorage. This data stays on your device and is not sent to us. You can erase it at any time by clearing the site data in your browser settings. If you clear it, or use a different browser or device, your progress will not be there.

3. Audio

Korean audio is produced by the text-to-speech engine built into your browser or operating system. Depending on your browser, the text of a sentence may be processed by the browser vendor’s speech service. We do not record your microphone or your voice.

4. Advertising (Google AdSense)

The site may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info. 5. Fonts and hosting

The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, and it is delivered by a web hosting provider. As with any website, these providers may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser type in order to deliver the files.

6. Donations

If you choose to support the site, the payment is handled entirely by the third-party service you select (for example Buy Me a Coffee, Ko-fi, or PayPal) under that service’s own privacy policy. We never receive your card details.

7. Children

The site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes

We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
